A long, back garden, boundary wall. Originally less than 30cm high, throughout November and December I extended the height of this to over 2 metres, using only Cotswold limestone (no mortar). Stone was purchased from Knockdown quarry which was just a few miles from the site and accordingly presumed as the source stone for the original wall.

A closeup of the wall shows the height of the original wall (green tinged), the even copes set into a thin layer of mortar and the laying of the face stones.
